Book a working session with the operator.
Thirty minutes. No pitch, no follow-up sequence. We read your last Ops Health Check together, name the one install priority that would compound fastest, and put it in writing. You leave with a written next step — not a sales call.
What this is — and what it isn't.
Decide before you book
A working session.
- A live read-through of your Ops Health Check report, alongside the operator who wrote the diagnostic.
- One install priority named at the end — written down, with a recommended kit and a target install date.
- Honest about whether the diagnostic actually fits your stage. If it doesn't, we'll say so.
- For operators who scored under 5 on composite, or whose top-three risks didn't feel obviously right.
- A diagnostic conversation, run like a working meeting — async-first, written outputs, decisions exit the room.
A sales call.
- Not a pitch for a paid engagement. We don't have a deck, a discovery sequence, or a pipeline.
- Not coaching. We don't operate as your fractional COO; we hand you the kit and step out.
- Not a chance to "just chat" if you haven't taken the Ops Health Check yet. We need the data.
- Not a forever thing. Most operators run one session and don't need a second. That's the design.
- Not "results guaranteed." The installs work when leadership runs them. We give the artifact; you run the install.
Three things to bring.
Sessions that don't have these three things run 50 minutes and produce no install priority. Sessions that do have them run 28 minutes and produce a written next step.
The three things are operator hygiene — not homework.
Pick a time.
3–7 day lead time
The questions we get most.
Read before you book
Is it really free? Where's the catch?
No catch. The working session is the way ZeroConfines vets which operators benefit from a paid engagement and which don't. Most operators who book leave with a written install priority, run it with their leadership team, and never come back — and that's the point. About 1-in-12 turn into a paid engagement.
If the session feels like a pitch, you should leave— it's not designed that way.
What if I haven't taken the Ops Health Check yet?
Take it first. The session reads the report — without it, we'd spend 25 of the 30 minutes asking diagnostic questions you'd answer faster alone.
The check takes 12 minutes. Start here ↗
Can I bring my leadership team?
Yes — up to four people, including you. The session is more useful with two-to-three leaders than with one solo operator. The install priority we name lands harder when the leadership team heard it first.
Add the names in the booking notes. We'll send the calendar invite to all attendees.
What happens after the session?
One follow-up email within 24 hours with the written install priority + the recommended kit + the target install date. That's it. No drip sequence, no "checking in next week," no LinkedIn add.
If you want to follow up — book another session in 90 days, after you've installed.
I'm a fund / accelerator / portfolio operator. Different process?
Slightly. Portfolio-scale conversations work better as a 60-minute session with the operating partner and one portfolio company at a time. Use the same calendar widget above — pick two consecutive 30-minute slots and add a note that says "portfolio · 60 min." We'll merge them.
If you have more than three portcos to walk through, email info@zeroconfines.comand we'll set up a dedicated track.
Take the diagnostic first.
The session reads the report. Without the report, we're starting from zero — and 30 minutes isn't enough to start from zero. The check takes 12 minutes. Take it before you book and the session is twice as useful.
